Two Trees Management is a family-owned company in Brooklyn that has been around since 1968. Currently, they have 12 residential properties across the city of New York, meaning you can get the same quality lifestyle in their Fort Greene apartments, as you can with an apartment for rent in Dumbo Brooklyn.
Fort Greene is located in the northwest section of Brooklyn, just across from Lower Manhattan and North of Prospect Park. The neighborhood is named after an American Revolutionary War era fort that was built in 1776 under the supervision of General Nathanael Greene.
The property in Fort Greene is located at 300 Ashland Place. The building has modern residences located in the middle of Brooklyn’s cultural district. The luxury complex has a full list of resident amenities including a roof top deck, a full time doorman, 24 hour front desk concierge, a parking garage, bike storage, and to top it off, the entire 29th floor club level offers a resident lounge and 24-hour state-of-the-art Health Club.
Currently, there are a few studio apartments for rent at 300 Ashland Place. Unit 10C is just a bit bigger than unit 20P, and is listed for $2630 per month. With this unit you get an additional 9sqft (435) for $79 less per month. The layout is unique in that the kitchen area is separate from the living area. When you enter the unit, you are immediately in the kitchen, and the bathroom is on your left. Just a few steps into the unit, the room opens up to the 17’7″ x 13’7″ living area. There are 2 closets in the living area, which are next to the in-unit washer/dryer The other features in the unit include keyless electronic apartment access, white oak hardwood floors, Bosch washer/dryer, stainless steel Bosch kitchen appliances, Caesarstone and stainless steel countertops, custom closet shelving, solar shades throughout the apartment, in-sink garbage disposal, Hans Grohe bathroom fixtures, LED energy efficient track lighting, and large ceiling-height windows offering great natural light and unobstructed views of the New York Harbor, Verrazano Bridge, and Statue of Liberty.
While the amenities are great, and the apartment is nice, I am not thrilled with the layout of the studio apartment. I have seen other studios that have a semi private sleeping alcove. If they asked me for a suggestion, that is what I would recommend.
