Brooklyn Commercial Apartments for Rent

brooklyn-commercial-apartments-for-rentAre you a thinking of starting your own buisness, but aren’t sure if you need a separate commercial space just yet.  Many small businesses have been started in the comfort of ones own home.

For example, are you a graphic designer, artist, or writer?  Instead of living in one place, and working in another, why not combine your life into one simple location.  Say you want to live and work in Brooklyn.  You can combine your search for Brooklyn commercial property for rent, and brooklyn apartments for rent.  Some buildings have commercial space on the bottom floor and living spaces on the upper floor, so try searching for Brooklyn commercial apartments for rent.

What is the difference between a Studio apartment, and a 1 bedroom apartment?  In the case of Unit 8NE at The Court House Apartment complex, at 125 Court Street in Brooklyn, the answer is a door.  Currently available for $3180 per month, this 496sqft Studio apartment has everything a normal 1 bedroom apartment has, except a door to the sleeping area.

I like the layout of this unit better than 3SB, which is a smaller studio. As you enter the front door, there is a closet to your left and the kitchen would be to your right.  Straight ahead of you is the living room.  Walk through the living room and turn right, you will see the sleeping alcove.  From the alcove, you have access to the bathroom.  At the end of the alcove and  before you reach the bathroom, there is a closet on both sides. The floors are hardwood solid white oak throughout the apartment.

The gourmet chef kitchen features stainless steel appliances from GE.  The large black granite island has a stainless steel sink with a garbage disposal. There might be enoough room for a small dining set between the living room and the kitchen island, but if not, you can get a couple of stools or chairs and use the island as your dining table.

The living room, with LED track lighting mounted to the ceiling, is a comfortable size at 11’3″ x 14’6″, the windows have solar shades..  The large living room windows, with solar shades, allow the sunlight to flood the apartment.  The access to the terrace is at the far end of the living room.

You could comfortably fit a queen size bed in the 10’6″ x 8’1″ alcove.  What I like about the alcove, is that it is more private, with a smaller access door to the living room, door not included.  The windows in the alcove have black out shades.

The bathroom is nice too, with a full size tub with shower, an open vanity, and tile floors.

Court House Apartments, like most luxury buildings, offers those little extra’s to enahnce your lifestyle. Things like a 24-hour concierge, underground parking, in-building Laundry, a bike room, a package room, and a live-in Super. The 3rd Floor of the building has been converted into a beautiful courtyard that features an outdoor leisure area.

Your monthly rent does not include a membership to the Dodge YMCA on the premises, but you can get a discount on your membership since you are a resident at 125 Court Street.  The “Y” has all of the usual equipment provided in a fitness center along with fitness classes, a swimming pool, a basketball court, and an indoor track. If the YMCA doesn’t fit your needs, try the Equinox Brooklyn Heights a few blocks up at the intersection of Court St. and Joralemon St.  As a resident at The Court House Apartments, you qualify for a discount on your membership.

For those of you with pets, you might like to know there are 2 parks within four blocks.  Van Voorhes park is 4 blocks up Atlantic Ave, and Columbus Park is 4 blocks away traveling on Court St.
