Luxury apartments in Brooklyn come in many shapes and sizes. With so many available it’s difficult to narrow down which one is right for you. Personally, I like this unit at The Court House Apartments at 125 Court Street in Brooklyn. I am pretty sure it is considered Brooklyn Heights, but it is at the corner where Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill and Brooklyn Heights come together.
The one we saw today is the largest 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment that they currently have on the market. With 960sqft of living space, you will have plenty of room to host your family and friends. This no fee unit is listed on streeteasy.com for $5620 per month.
Apt 8SD is set up to take full advantage of the square footage. As you enter the front door, there is a walk-in closet to your immediate left. To the right is the guest bathroom, and the second bedroom. Take a few steps inside, and the master bedroom is on your left. A few more steps forward and you are in the kitchen, and the living room. A small balcony off the kitchen overlooks the private courtyard, and a HUGE private terrace at the far end of the living room. Hardwood solid white oak flooring throughout the apartment makes the rooms seem bigger.
The Master bedroom is 12′ x 11′, with a private bathroom, and a closet that runs the length of the right wall. The second bedroom is 11’2″ x 11’2″, and has a standard size closet. The windows in the bedrooms have black out shades.
The GE stainless steel appliances in the kitchen line the wall that backs up to the master bedroom and the large black granite island that has a stainless steel sink with a garbage disposal overlooks the living room. The kitchen island has room for a couple of bar stools, so you can use it as a breakfast bar
The key feature in the bathroom is the open vanity. The full size tub/shower & tile floors seem to be standard equipment.
The living room, which measures 13’2″ x 17′, has solar shades on the windows, and LED track lighting. The oversized living room is in perfect proportion to the terrace I mentioned earlier.
Court House Apartments is like most other luxury buildings in regards to the provided amenities. All amenities are prettty standard, a 24-hour concierge, bike room, package room, laundry facility, and underground parking. The building has a live-in super just in case you have an emergency. The luxury that I like the most is the 3rd Floor courtyard with the outdoor leisure area.
If you are into fitness, the Dodge YMCA is right on the premises, but is not inlcuded in your monthly rent. If you choose to be a member of the Y, you can get a discounted membership for being a resident at 125 Court St. Your membership fee gets you access to fitness classes, swimming pools, a basketball court, and an indoor track. If you aren’t a fan of the YMCA, check out Equinox Brooklyn Heights. 3 blocks away on the corner of Court and Joralemon, you can get a discounted membership for living at The Court House Apartments.
If you have a dog, or other pet that needs to be walked and played with, ther are 2 parks just 4 blocks away. Columbus Park is up Court St, a block North of Equinox Brooklyn Heights, and Van Vorhees Park is 4 blocks West on Atlantic Ave.
