The Court House Apartments is a luxury apartment building at 125 Court Street. Located on Court Street, between Atlantic Ave, and State Street, where 3 neighbords (Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, and Brooklyn Heights) intersect is a 798sqft unit with 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom. According to streeteasy.com, the price for this no fee unit is $4585 per month.
Much like 6NA, the living room in Unit 9NA splits the two bedrooms. As you enter the front door, the kitchen is on your right, and a closet is to your immediate left. Straight ahead of you is the living room, with the balcony at the far end of the room. The flooring in the apartment is hardwood solid white oak.
I don’t think you could consider either of the bedrooms as a “master bedroom”. The larger bedroom is 13’6″ x 11′, and the second bedroom is 11’6″ x 11′. The closet in the bedrooms seems to be the same size, but the closet in the smaller room is split with a divider. Both closets are on the wall opposite the windows. The windows in the bedrooms have black out shades, to keep the sun out.
Just to the left of the kitchen is a small dining area about 8′ x 5′. The gourmet chefs kitchen features GE stainless steel appliances, and a large black granite island that has a stainless steel sink with a garbage disposal. From the kitchen sink, you can peer into the living room to keep an eye on your family & friends.
The bathroom, which is just to the right, at the far end of the living room and closer to the smaller bedroom, has a full size tub & shower, and tile flooring. The bathroom sink looks clean and elegant with the open vanity.
The living room measures 14’7″ x 12’11”, and has access to a balcony that overlooks the courtyard. The living room windows are equipped with solar shades, and the apartment has LED track lighting.
Every building offers its residents some sort of “extras” called amenities. At The Court House Apartments you get a 24-hour concierge, a live-in Superintendent, laundry facility, a place for your bike, a package room and underground parking. The featured amenity that is included in your rent is the 3rd Floor outdoor courtyard.
Not sure this would be considered an included amenity, since it has a fee. The 40,000-square-foot Dodge YMCA fitness center is available without having to leave the building. The Dodge YMCA does offer discounts on memberships to residents. Another option, if you are interested in joining a health club, is Equinox Brooklyn Heights. Less than a quarter mile away, Equinox offers discounted membership packages to the residents at 125 Court Street.
I almost forgot to mention that the building is pet-friendly. With that in mind, you should know there are 2 parks within 4 blocks so you can get your pets out for a little exercise. Columbus Park is 4 blocks North on Court Street, and Van Vorhees Park is 4 blocks West on Atlantic Ave.
