Dumbo Apartments for Sale or a Fort Greene Luxury Rental

Are you in the market for a new place to live?  Have you been watching the trends in the market?  We were thinking of purchasing one of the Dumbo Apartments for sale, but after giving it some serious consideration, we decided to turn our attention to the rental market.  We have decided on a Fort Greene luxury rental.

The history and cultural diversity is what attracted us to Fort Greene.  I almost failed American History when I was in school.  It was my last class of the day, it was boring, and I didn’t think it mattered.  Besides, I couldn’t wait to get to the gym to shoot my 100 free throws. As I grew older, I realized that our history has developed the country that we have today. When I first looked at Fort Greene I saw that it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a New York City–designated Historic District. With a little more research I found it was named after an American Revolutionary War era fort that was built in 1776 under the supervision of General Nathanael Greene.

The building we decided to look at is 300 Ashland.  It is a new 35 story, 379-unit luxury building at 300 Ashland Place.  Located in the heart of the Brooklyn Cultural District, the building has art exhibits, a Library, 4 theaters, and a dance Studio.  Off topic a bit, being a basketball fan, I liked that it was close to Barclays Center.

The amenities for the residents is standard with a full time doorman, a 24 hour front desk concierge, bike storage, a package room, and a parking garage.  A couple of things impressed me about the building. One was the gym, the entire 29th floor is dedicated to residents with state of the art cardio equipment, free weights, and yoga.  Speaking of yoga, you can go tot he rooftop deck and do yoga outside on the yoga platform.

The unit we looked at is Suite 17T.  It is a 906 sqft 2 bedroom, 2 bath corner apartment that faces South and West.  Available for $5400 per month, which included one month free on a 13 month lease. When you walk in the front door, you are met by the washer/dryer, and the guest bathroom.  Just a few steps into the unit, the 2nd bedroom is on your right, and the kitchen is ahead of you.  The open kitchen has an island breakfast bar, and looks directly into the living room. At the far end of the living room on the left side is door going out to the balcony.  Just before exiting to the balcony, if you turn left, you will see the master bedroom.  The master bedroom features a walk-in closet, and master bathroom. Common features that are available in all of the apartments include keyless electronic apartment access, white oak hardwood floors, Bosch washer/dryer, stainless steel Bosch kitchen appliances, Caesarstone and stainless steel countertops, closets with custom shelving, ceiling height windows with solar shades on the living room windows and blackout shades on the bedroom windows, in-sink garbage disposal, Hans Grohe bathroom fixtures, LED energy efficient track lighting,

Just so you know, 300 Ashland is a pet-friendly building and Fort Greene Park is just 3 blocks away so you can let those pets out to run (and do their business).
