Two Trees Management is having a 3 day open house to show off this 408sqft Studio apartment with a private terrace. Priced at $3150 per month, this unit may not be on the market very long. With easy access to Lower Manhattan from the Brooklyn Bridge, The Court House Apartments is located at 125 Court Street, where Cobble Hill meets Brooklyn Heights. If you have your heart set on looking at luxury apartments for sale in Brooklyn, New York City, you may change your mind after you see this apartment.
I like the layout of this unit, 3SB. As you enter the front door, there is a closet to your left and the kitchen would be to your right. Straight ahead of you is the living room, and an alcove for your bed is to the left of the living room. The bathroom is on the left side of the apartment, right next to the alcove. Access to the 12′ x 18′ private terrace is at the far end of the living room. The floors are hardwood solid white oak.
A gourmet chef style kitchen is ideal if you like to cook. It comes equipped with GE stainless steel appliances, and a large black granite island that has a stainless steel sink with a garbage disposal. From the kitchen you can look straight through the living room to the private terrace. Since there is not really a place to put a dining room table, you could get a couple of tall chairs and use the kitchen island as your dining area.
The living room is 10’6″ x 13’7″, with solar shades on the windows, and LED track lighting on the ceiling. The large living room windows allow facing the terrace allow the sunlight to flood the apartment.
I like the alcove because it is off to the side of the living room. At 6’7″ x 9’1″, the alcove is large enough to accomodate a queen size bed.
With a full size tub with shower, and tile floors, the bathroom is as nice as the rest of the apartment. The bathroom sink is referred to as an open vanity, meaning there is no storage compartment under the sink.
The list of amenities at The Court House Apartments looks similar to most luxury apartments in New York. Highlighted by the 3rd Floor courtyard, the list of amenities include a live-in Super, a 24-hour concierge, underground parking, in-building laundry, a bike room, a package room, and the 40,000-square-foot Dodge YMCA fitness center.
You should be aware, the Dodge YMCA on the premises is not inlcuded in your monthly rent, but they do offer discounts on memberships to residents. Like most YMCA facilities, ou have access to an array of fitness classes, a swimming pool, basketball court, and an indoor track just to name a few.
The Court House Apartments has also partnered with Equinox Brooklyn Heights, which is a fitness center 3 blocks up Court Street. You can get a membership discount at Equinox if you are a resident of 125 Court Street.
Because 125 Court Street is a pet-friendly builing, I should let you know there are 2 parks in the area to take your pets out to do their business. Van Voorhes Park is 4 blocks West on Atlantic Ave, and Columbus Park is 4 blocks North on Court St.
